If you’ve ever hear the song ‘Jesus’ by Brand New then you know exactly what this is about. There is a line in the song that says ‘My bright is to slight to hold back all my dark’. I have always identified greatly with this song and that line in particular. I had been trying to think of a good tattoo to do that said it without saying it and then it clicked. On one finger, the word ‘bright’ in lowercase and on the finger behind it the word ‘DARK’ in uppercase to show that the bright really is to slight.
